| Description | A $ 80 million project promoted by a Norwegian investor to build & operate a new airport in Ein Al Sukhna. A formal proposal was already submitted to Suez Governorate stressing that it would promote tourism to Ein Al Sukhna & Al Zaafarana, also possibly to Ras Sidr. Proposal was recently reviewed by highly seen Mr. Ahmed Al Maghrabi, Egypt Minister of Tourism, in his meeting with Suez Governor. Meanwhile Mr. Al Maghrabi has promised to support a paper submitted by Al Ein Al Sukhna investors to the Minister of Housing & Utilities, to extend a 100,000 M3/ day potable water pipeline from Tenth of Ramadan City. He further promised to support & promote yacht tourism in Al Ein Al Sukhna, also to develop a 170 feddans land owned by Egoth in coordination with Suez Governorate & the Holding Co. for Housing, Tourism & Cinema as per the protocol signed recently by the three concerned parties. |
