| Description | On behalf of national & foreign investors, an Egyptian consulting house is said to have submitted a feasibility study of a $ 500 million overhead electrical metro project to Alexandria Governor. Project would link the eastern part of Alexandria with industrial & tourist complexes. Project would have the capacity to move up to 12,000-passengers/ hour (at peak hours) in one direction under L.E. 1.5 ticket. Project is proposed to go under B.O.T. for 99 years. |
