| Description | Days after Egypt Minister of Petroleum Eng. Sameh Fahmy has announced the $ 30 billion scheme to connect 6 million households to gas distribution networks over the next 20 years, a deal was concluded to finance a relevant scheme in Zagazig City. Media reports have quoted the Minister revealing that agreements have also been concluded for similar projects in Fayyoum & Beni Swef Governorates. He added that further projects are also planned in Assuit and Sohag, to be extended later to Qena City, also Safaga and Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. N.B.
