| Description | Further to our earlier reporting, more details were lately released on the two containers handling terminals project at Alexandria & Dekheila Ports going under B.O.T. Project developer is an Egyptian/ Saudi / Chinese consortium grouping Hutchton (of China), Al Balagha Group (of Saudi Arabia) and an Egyptian investor, Mr. Abdel Azim Loqma (as earlier indicated). Head of Alexandria Port Authority, General Mohamed Yousef, said the Chinese partner manages 39 containers handling terminals in 19 different countries with total annual tonnage reaching 41.5 million tons. |
