Further to our reporting on the licenses issued recently for 9 private universities spread country wide, media reports revealed lately more details on the Sinai University project going under initiative of Dr. Hassan Kamel Rateb. Project owner is Sinai Development Organization, a non-profit entity depending mainly on donations & support from its members and other institutions and individuals. Total estimated project costs are put at L.E. 360 million for execution over 3 phases in six years. Chairman of the new university is Dr. Mahmoud Al Sherif, Ex Minister of Local Administration and the President of the National Federation of NGOs. |
