According to Egypt Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Wealth, Eng. Sameh Fahmy, some 74 petroleum drilling rigs are now operating on offshore & onshore wells country wide. On his side, Chairman of the Egyptian Drilling Co. revealed that about 53 % of that number is owned by the company. The executive revealed that his company has posted for FY 2003/ 2004 some $ 20 million net profits after taxes on $ 187 million gross revenues. |
