Siemens of Germany declared winner of L.E. 81 million order for the 220 kV gas insulated circuit breakers package for Kuriemat 750 MW combined cycle power station project. Works are for completion in 37 months. Order also provides for the supply, erection, taking over tests & commissioning of 220 kV equipment & accessories, also the safety, automatic control & telecommunication systems. Client is UEEPC – Upper Egypt Electricity Production Co. Overall project investments are put at L.E. 1.8 billion. It is part financed by EIB – European Investment Bank & OPEC Fund. |
