After having recently bought out Alexandria based National Paper Co. for L.E. 135 million, Al Kharafi Group has announced it would pump L.E. 350 million investments therein over the next two years to increase its annual capacity to 150,000 tons. Chairman of the Group, Mr. Nasser Al Kharafi, said the existing 1,000 employees + will be maintained inspite of the fact that operations require a quarter only of that figure. Worth indicating is that this is the group second project to produce paper in Egypt. |
