Red Sea Ports Authority in joint venture with SPDC – Sukhna Port Development Co. has formed a new company identified as Sukhna Co. for Animal Wealth SAE. The new venture would operate under the private free zones system to grow yearly up to 250,000 – 350,000 heads of cattle & sheep. Project, going under $ 20 million estimated investments, has been allocated 211,000 M2 land [ on lease basis ] inside Sukhna Port & will be implemented over two stages. Primarily it would contribute in covering local demand on red meat of high quality & economic price. In another stage the scheme provides for launching several complementing industries including automatic slaughterhouses, refrigeration & freezing facilities, also meat caning factories. |
