Egypt Minister of Investment was quoted in the media announcing that direct foreign investments in Egypt, excluding the petroleum sector during FY 2004/ 2005 up to $ 1 billion, compared with $ 407 million foreign investments in FY 2003/ 2004 marking almost 146 % growth. The Minister has further revealed that privatization deals concluded during July 2005 reached almost L.E. 2.9 billion. |
