During his recent meeting with Egypt Prime Minister, Chairman of an Indian Group has expressed interest to implement a $ 16 million project promoted by his Group to produce synthetic fibers. The investor, also Chairman of Alexandria Carbon Co. and new owner of Mansoura Company for Resins, lately privatized, has presented to the Prime Minister relevant expansion and revamping plans for both entities. He further confirmed the deep interest among Indian businessmen to invest in projects producing nitrogen fertilizers among others highly demanded by Indian agriculture. N.B. Worth indicating is that Tata Group of India was among bidders to buy out EFC – Egyptian Fertilizers Company but it withdrew on later stage. |
