According to Dr. Eng. Adel El Mozi, CEO of the CIHC – Chemical Industries Holding Co., investors from Saudi Arabia, UAE & Kuwait have expressed interest to implement a new project in Ataqa, in Suez Governorate to produce 700,000 tons of (nitrogen) fertilizers. Project goes in co-operation with the Ministry of Petroleum, National Organization for Military Production & CIHC. Project will be implemented on 2 million M2 land in Ataqa, to the North of Sukhna Port, owned by (state owned) El Nasr Co. for Fertilizers. Works on the $ 400 million + project, are expected to start by the end of 2005 for completion in 3 years time. |
