Contracts for the last two packages pertaining to Talkha 750 MW combined cycle power station were recently signed with two international groups valued L.E. 338 million. The first, valued L.E. 304.5 million was signed with a consortium grouping Skoda of Czech & cmi of Belgium. It provides for the heat recovery boilers & related accessories and goes under funding from KFESD – Kuwait Fund for Economic & Social Development & EIB – European Investment Bank. As to the second, valued L.E. 34 million, so it was signed with WTO of Italy & provides for the water treatment package. Client is the EEHC – Egyptian Electricity Holding Co. |
