According to Egypt Minister of Electricity & Energy, Dr. Eng. Hassan Younis, earlier prepared studies will be updated to link Egypt unified power grid with that of Ghaza Strip. Statements followed the Minister meeting with the head of Palestinian head of the Energy & Natural Resources Authority, Mr. Azzam El Shawwa. N.B. Weeks earlier a project was announced to build a new power station in Al Arish, in Egypt, to supply third parties with electricity including Ghaza strip. Dr. Younis indicated that Egypt would extend any assistance to the Palestinian Party to establish a new power transmission entity & an energy control center in Ghaza, including the required training of personnel. |
