Chaired by Prime Minister, the Ministerial Committee for Sinai Development endorsing the constitution of a new industrial holding company to attract investments in Central Sinai. That was announced by General Ahmed Abdel Hamid, North Sinai Governor, indicating that the new entity would promote three heavy industry projects in that area to produce glass, marble & cement. Meanwhile, the Committee has further endorsed L.E. 250 million budget funds for several urgent projects in North Sinai including the revamping of Al Arish Port, infrastructure facilities at Beer El Abd Industrial Zone and speeding up the railway project extending from Beer El Abd to Rafah |
