Euro 1 million Spanish grant has been extended to finance feasibility studies for the revamping of the ring road around Greater Cairo. That was announced by the Spanish Minister of Trade during his recent visit to Cairo indicating the ring road could be converted into an integrated transport corridor to ease movement thereon. The official met with Egypt Minister of Transport and discussed with him possible participation of Spanish consultants & contractors in the recent released phase 1 of Cairo third metro line. |
