CBE – Central Bank of Egypt has embarked on L.E. 800 million project to build the largest & most modern banknotes printing house in the Middle East. Project is part of a plan drawn by CBE to protect & secure the Egyptian currency from forging & falsifying risks, which are increasing worldwide, benefiting from fast growing laser printing technologies. Project also provides for adding new features to the national currency to prolong its durability. |
